Calvin Bagley is a Healthcare Entrepreneur, Medicare Broker, Thought Leader Advocate, Speaker, and Amazon Best Selling Author who went from having no education as a child to earning a business degree at the age of 34.

Today Calvin is the founder of several different businesses which have positively impacted the lives of tens of thousands of people. His book is a published memoir titled “Hiding from the School Bus,” which tells the story of growing up in poverty, isolation, religious extremism, and navigating an education system which wasn’t built for kids like him.

Calvin’s powerful story is one of resilience, faith, and how to turn pain into purpose. He did not set foot in a classroom until he was 22 years old. He wasn’t homeschooled, he was “no-schooled.” Being kept close to home with no exposure to traditional education, his older sister taught him how to read.

Incredibly, through hard work and profound stubbornness, he not only learned to read, but he learned how to speak Portuguese and Spanish when he went on his church mission at the age of 19. Calvin explains how learning Portuguese actually helped him read and write English and encouraged him to continue to pursue further education, eventually being accepted to a college and earning his business degree, which launched him on his remarkable and rewarding career.
