Marci Brockmann is an author, educator, author, and host of the popular podcast Permission to Heal, which is built on a foundation of love, a passion for what’s possible, and a commitment to be an unstoppable force for good.

Marci is also an emotional abuse survivor, which she chronicles in her memoir titled Permission to Land: Searching for Love, Home, and Belonging, which is a story of hope and healing. Marci believes that you only need your own permission to trust yourself, to follow your heart and desires, and build a life of love, home, and belonging.

Marci shares her story of growing up in home a highly dysfunctional home with mental illness and addiction. She explains how she used writing, drawing, and painting to express herself and make sense of the world around her. After years of searching, journaling, art, therapy, and deep soul work she realized that there was only one person responsible for her own health and wellness.

Marci shares many words of wisdom along with practical tips for others who may be struggling with a past of dysfunction, mental health, and addiction, including how to stop the hula hooping monkeys in your brain.
