Carl Berryman is a Certified Personal Trainer turned Men’s Health Advocate and Coach.

He is also the host of the Inspired by Impact podcast, which is a podcast for men that explores what it takes for men to push through the fear of intimacy, overcome depression, and find their lives’ true purpose by taking what works inside the gym and apply it to everyday life outside the gym.

Carl shares his own personal experience of hitting rock bottom several times in his life, beginning with the sudden death of his father when he was nineteen. As his family fell apart, Carl describes dealing with depression, anxiety, having suicidal ideations. Although he always had a passion for fitness, Carl found himself working out but stuck in a pattern of inconsistency and not creating the change in his fitness, mental health, and personal relationships that he wanted to achieve.

Everything changed for him when he realized he wasn’t alone, and that other men struggled with the same issues he did. This epiphany led him to become an advocate for men’s mental and emotional health and wellbeing.

Carl shares many valuable insights including taking action and personal responsibility to make the change you want to create, the power of language, how to recognize resistance in your life, and the importance of relationships, especially the one with yourself.
