Clay Boatright is an Inspirational Storyteller, speaker, author, coach, and advocate for people with disabilities.
His recently published book titled “God’s Plan, Our Circus,” uses humor and faith to inspire people going through difficult life challenges such as raising children with severe autism, long-term illness, or the premature death of a spouse. All of which Clay has personally experienced in his life’s journey.
Clay shares that even though his family circus was full of difficult challenges, he firmly believes that every challenge was a blessing and a gift from God. He explains that we are all uniquely blessed, that happiness is a choice, and that there is a tremendous amount of positivity which can result from our challenges.
With his remarkable sense of humor, he also describes how he found himself with no responsibilities for the first time in his adult life, which refers to as Launching Clay 2.0, dating in his mid-fifties with the dating mindset of a 17-year-old, getting dating advice from his eldest daughter, and why life is too important to take seriously.
