Episode #262: Hope and Healing, One Step at a Time with Dallas Goodlet

Dallas Goodlet spent his entire life battling multiple addictions including food, drugs, alcohol, nicotine, and pornography. For over 20 years, he struggled with ruined relationships, low self-esteem, shame, regret, self-loathing, and thoughts of suicide.

At the age of 24, Dallas experienced a moment of clarity which set him on a path which changed all areas of his life for the better, and now he coaches others to help them do the same. He shares his poignant and sometimes heartbreaking story of growing up knowing he was adopted, but never knowing the truth about his biological family, leaving him feeling confused, angry, and unworthy of love. He also describes his path of self-destruction, and indirectly trying to kill himself with drugs and alcohol. Until that one day when everything began to change.
