We all know that a healthy diet is important for our health and well-being. But, sometimes it’s hard to make healthy choices, especially when that supersized brownie is sitting on the kitchen counter calling our name. Phyllis Guy, Certified Nutritional Coach and owner of “Natural Body Wisdom….Changing Lives One Bite at a Time,” explains the relationship between the gut and the brain.  

Phyllis describes how making the right choices can decrease inflammation in the body, prevent disease, eliminate aches and pains, improve sleep patterns, improve energy, and even get rid of brain fog. She also explains that changing the way we eat can be a difficult path to travel, something most of us can relate to. She continues to describe that often it is our brain chemistry that gets in our way rather than the lack of will power.
