Ande Lyons is a Pro Aging Advocate who is shattering ageism through her podcast called “Don’t Be Caged by Your Age.” Where she helps people thrive after 65.
Ande firmly believes that pastures are for horses, not humans, and at the vibrant age of 69, she is making it her mission to represent that life isn’t over until you’re dead. She helps people disseminate the internalized ageist beliefs so that they can fuel their passion, purpose, and pocketbook after 65.
Ande describes her “Andelicious” conversations with individuals who have defied societal norms, shattered age-related expectations, and forged new and unexpected pathways that left them feeling enlivened, engaged, and visible, she helps listeners reimagine and repurpose their lived experiences for a vibrant life at any age.
She credits her passion for fostering intergenerational relationships and community along with her love of podcasting, Ande launched the New England Podcasters Group in early 2024. Beginning with a monthly in-person event where podcasters of all ages connect, collaborate, learn from each other, and grow together, today it’s a lively, welcoming community that keeps expanding with new voices and fresh ideas… and includes a vibrant online Community Pod Garden, where folks from around the world can enjoy the New England Podcasters Group Experience.
